How to Play

Play Tanks PVP Showdown online for free. Tanks PVP Showdown is a turn-based tank fighter game. You have 30 seconds to move, aim, and shoot at your opponent. Keep exchanging fire until one of you loses all your hit points. Battle a friend or play another random player online. This game is rendered in mobile-friendly HTML5, so it offers cross-device gameplay. You can play it on mobile devices like Apple iPhones, Google Android powered cell phones from manufactures like Samsung, tablets like the iPad or Kindle Fire, laptops, and Windows-powered desktop computers. All game files are stored locally in your web browser cache. This game works in Apple Safari, Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Mozilla Firefox, Opera and other modern web browsers.

Starting the Game

On the welcome screen are the following options:
- Choose a player avatar.
- Type in a player name.
- Select Play to start a standard game.
- Select the key button to the right to open a private room with friends.
- Select the enlarge button on the top right corner to switch between windowed and full screen modes
- Select the gear button to turn the game’s audio effects on or off.
- You can find out how many players are currently online by looking at the top left corner of the screen.
- Your web browser automatically saves your game progress.

      - Left click on the movement slider to move the tank.
      - Left click on the aim slider to aim.
      - Left click on any of the available weapons to use it.
      - Left click on the fire button to attack.
      - Touchscreen devices
        
        With your fingers:
        
        Tap on the movement sliders to move the tank.
        
        Tap on the aim slider to aim.
        
        Tap on the available weapons to select them for use.
        
        Tap on the fire button to attack.

        Home button: Returns you to the welcome screen

        Creating a persona
        
        Choose an avatar from the 10 different portraits available.
        
        Type in your name.
        
        Choosing a game mode
        
        To begin a standard game against any players currently online, select Play.
        
        To play an invite-only game, select the key button:
        
        To create a private room, type in a password on the space provided.
        
        You can give this password to any friend who wants to join.
        
        When invited by a friend, simply type the password in the space to join their private room.
        
        Choosing a tank
        
        Use the left and right arrow buttons on either side of the current tank to browse.
        
        Pick a tank from the available models:
        
        You start with only 2 tanks unlocked.
        
        Use the coins you’ve won to unlock more tanks.
        
        Each tank fires a different shot and has different stats.
        
        View the health, mobility, and firepower stats of each tank on the bottom left corner of the selection screen.
        
        See the type of shots fired by the tank on the bottom right corner.
        
        To begin the game, select Find Match on the bottom center of the selection screen.
        
        Basic rules
        
        Attacking
        
        You can choose from a group of attacks on the bottom center of the screen:
        
        Two of these are special attacks, which you have a limited number of.
        
        The third is a pop-up list of your standard attacks. You can choose from among 3.
        
        Select a type of attack.
        
        Move your tank and adjust the angle of your shot to maximize your chances of hitting the enemy tank.
        
        You have 30 seconds to shoot.
        
        Fail to shoot, and you’d have to deal
        
        Miss a shot and you will likely leave craters around the battlefield.
        
        Hit your target and your opponent will be harmed.
        
        After you finish or forfeit your move, your opponent gets a turn. Keep taking turns until one of you loses all your hit points.
        
        Special attacks
        
        You have one of each special attack at the start of each match:
        
        Air strikes call in a plane to drop 3 bombs precisely at the opponent’s location.
        
        Sidewinder missiles fire a powerful yet imprecise missile, which may or may not hit the enemy.
        
        You can replenish your special attacks by collecting the airdropped crates.
        
        Rewards
        
        The game awards coins each time you play.
        
        Winning nets you 250 coins.
        
        Losing still yields 50 points.
        
        You can use the coins you’ve accrued from each of your games to unlock more powerful tanks.
        
        Target Audience
        
        The game is suited for players who like tank fighting games.
        
        The game has no adult themed content.
