                                  • Ball types
                                    • There are 2 ball colors in 8-ball billiards.
                                      • Solids have a single color throughout.
                                      • Stripes have a stripe of color over white.
                                      • The player who pockets the first ball takes on the color of the ball they pocket. The other player takes on the opposite color automatically.
                                      • You can only pocket balls of your own color after that point.
                                      • Use the guidelines to estimate where the ball you target might go.
                                      • Rules
                                        • Be the first to pocket all the balls of your color to get a chance at sinking the 8-ball.
                                        • Shoot the balls into the pockets using the cue ball.
                                          • How well the cue ball can sink the other balls depends on the force of your shot and the location where you hit the cue ball.
                                          • Adjust your striking position using the cue ball icon on the bottom left corner.
                                          • Pocket the 8-ball to win.
                                          • Breaking
                                            • The game begins with a tutorial explaining the game’s controls. You can skip this using the button on the top right corner.
                                              • In games against the computer, you automatically make the first move. If you don’t pocket a ball at the start of the game, the computer gets a turn.
                                              • In versus human games, Player 1 goes first. Decide between you and your playmate who gets this designation.
                                              • The two players alternate until someone pockets a ball. The design of the ball they pocket determines if they are stripes or solids.
                                              • The other player takes on the opposite ball type.
                                                • Faults
                                                  • There are 3 faults in this version of 8-ball pool.
                                                    • Pocketing the cue
                                                    • Pocketing the 8-ball prematurely
                                                    • Pocketing a ball not of your color
                                                    • Each time a player commit a fault, their turn ends.
                                                    • The opponent gets to move the ball to any location on the field.
                                                    • You also lose 20 points each time you commit a fault.
                                                    • Scoring
                                                      • Your score depends on the number of balls you pocketed.
                                                      • Each pocketed ball is worth 20 points.
                                                      • Tips
                                                        • Temper the strength of your shots so that the cue ball nudges the target balls in the right direction. This is a game of finesse, not power.
                                                        • Use the guidelines to help you aim your shots. Try to get the target balls moving as close to the nearest hole as possible.
                                                        • Target Audience
                                                          • The game is suited for players who like pool games.
