How to Play

Play Pro Billiards online for free. Pro Billiards is an 8-Ball game with 2 modes. Race against the clock and pocket all the balls in Player vs. Timer, or challenge a friend to a round of 8-Ball. This game is rendered in mobile-friendly HTML5, so it offers cross-device gameplay. You can play it on mobile devices like Apple iPhones, Google Android powered cell phones from manufactures like Samsung, tablets like the iPad or Kindle Fire, laptops, and Windows-powered desktop computers. All game files are stored locally in your web browser cache. This game works in Apple Safari, Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Mozilla Firefox, Opera and other modern web browsers.

Starting the Game

Wait for the game to load, then select Start.
On the welcome screen, select a game mode to begin.
Select Tutorial to learn the game’s controls.
The game’s audio controls are on the bottom right corner:
- Select the speaker button to turn the game’s sound effects on and off.
- Select the music button to turn the game’s music on and off.

        The strength indicator of your shot is shown on the right side of the screen.
        Game Play
        Game modes
        Player vs. Timer:
        You must pocket all the balls and the 8 ball before the timer runs out.
        You have no opponent.
        You have 30 minutes to pocket all the balls.
        You earn points (shown as dollars) for every ball you pocket.
        Once you win, you have the option to share the game with others on social media.
        Player vs. Player:
        Play against a human opponent.
        This follows the standard rules of 8-Ball Billiards.
        Unless specified, the rules outlined below apply to this mode.
        Basic rules

        For the timed mode
        Using the cue, pocket all the balls.
        Pocket the 8 ball the very last.
        You have 30 minutes to pocket all the balls.
        For player vs. player,
        Using the cue, pocket all the balls of your color.
        Pocket the 8 ball before your opponent does.
        Calibrating shots
        The meter on the right side measures the strength of each shot.
        The strength of the shot goes up and down.
        Each time you shoot the cue, it always travels at the strength where the meter was on the moment you make the shot.
        Carefully aim your shots to keep the balls from ricocheting where you don’t want them to go.
        Fouls
        Do not pocket the cue ball or the 8 ball before the very end of the game.
        In both game modes, accruing 3 of these infractions leads to a game over.
        Player vs. Player moves:
        Unlike other versions of this game, Player 1 automatically plays as solids and Player 2 plays as stripes.
        Player 1 always goes first.
        If one player pockets a ball, their turn continues. If they miss, it becomes the other player’s turn.
        If a player commits a foul, it becomes the other player’s turn.
        We recommend making the agreement on who takes what before starting the game.
        The first player to pocket all the balls of their color gets a shot at pocketing the 8 ball.
        The player who pockets the 8 ball first wins.
        Target Audience
        The game is suited for players who like simple pool games.
