Play Jelly Escape online for free. Jelly Escape is a 21-stage room escape game where you play as an overexcited running piece of jelly which must avoid spikes, electrical charges & other dangers as it navigates each level. Collect up to 3 stars while staying save and make your way through the exit door to unlock the next stage. This game is rendered in mobile-friendly HTML5, so it offers cross-device gameplay. You can play it on mobile devices like Apple iPhones, Google Android powered cell phones from manufactures like Samsung, tablets like the iPad or Kindle Fire, laptops, and Windows-powered desktop computers. All game files are stored locally in your web browser cache. This game works in Apple Safari, Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Mozilla Firefox, Opera and other modern web browsers.

Starting the Game

Select the green and white play button on the game loading screen to go to the welcome screen.
Select the green and white button on the game’s welcome screen to load the level select screen.
- Levels are unlocked sequentially.
- You can replay previously beat levels at any time.
- Your web browser automatically stores your game progress including which levels you have completed and your best star rating on each beat level.
- The welcome screen has a sound control button in the upper right corner.
- Underneath the play button on the welcome screen there are 3 buttons for game developer information, erase game progress, and play more games.

    - Tap your mouse left click button to reverse gravity.
    - Touchscreen devices
      - Tap the screen with a finger to reverse gravity.
      - Controls & indicators
        The upper left corner of the screen shows your current level number.
        The top center shows how many of the three stars you collected.
        The top right has buttons for sound control & pausing the game.
        The level select screen shows how many stars you collected overall & what your star rating was in each level.
        Game Play
        Basics
        You automatically run endlessly in this game.
        The goal of each level is to pick up as many stars as you can before passing through the level exit, without running into spikes or electrical charges.
        Each time you select you reverse gravity.
        In some cases you have to repeatedly switch gravity multiple times in quick succession.
        You have to be on a platform to be able to switch gravity. You can not switch gravity while floating in space.
        Run into anything and it is game over, with you starting again at the beginning of the level.
        In game elements
        Wooden platforms – these do not change throughout the game. When running on them you keep running in the same direction until you either jump to reverse gravity, run into a hazard like spikes, or hit a sign pointing the opposite direction.
        Spikes – one hit death if you touch them. Sometimes when jumping you have to have a high degree of precision to get stars and be able to jump again before running into spikes.
        Electrical charges – one hit death if you touch them. Sometimes you need to time multiple steps ahead to where you can pass through them when they are not activated. If you are at the edge of a wall with no spikes or arrow signs pointing in the opposite direction you can stay stationary until the timing is right to pass through the area with the electrical charge.
        Ice platforms – these operate like wooden platforms, except they break away and disappear about a second after you step on them, so they are single use.
        Signs – typically when you run to the edge of a level you do not switch directions until after you reverse gravity. These signs instead make you automatically run in the opposite direction.
        Jelly splats – while levels are not timed, each time you land you make a splat on the background, which can make levels visually noisy, particularly if you miss the exit and have to go over your path multiple times.
        Levels
        This game has 21 levels which are unlocked sequentially.
        If you are struggling to get a particular star you can beat the level with a lower star rating & play through other levels, then come back to the star you missed.
        Later levels are generally more challenging, so stars missed earlier tend to be easy to get after making it through all 21 levels.
        The level select screen shows how many of the 63 stars you collected & what your star rating was on each level.
        Target Audience
        The game is suited for players who like room escape games.
        The game has no adult themed content.
